How to Work Less & Make Consistent Money

Every massage business owner's dream is a steady cash stream and a manageable work schedule. If you're looking to work smarter, not harder, there are a few things you can do to work less and make money while you sleep.

1.) Write and Publish an eBook

In today's face-paced world, stress is a common part of daily life. People are actively looking for ways to stress less and feel better.

As a massage practitioner, you have a wealth of information about your favorite massage and self-care techniques people can use to relieve stress. Share these tips with your audience by writing and publishing an eBook. Keep it simple, value-packed and make sure to fill it with actionable tips and tricks for how best to execute your recommendations.

Price your digital ebook accordingly and promote your eBook everywhere- in your massage practice, on your social channels, and within your marketing emails- as a value-add tool for your clients. While writing and designing your eBook will take some time, once it's done it becomes an easy way to gather passive income.

2.) Make Video Tutorials on YouTube:

Video continues to be one of the preferred ways to consume content online. In fact, 72% of customers would rather learn about a product or service by way of video. (HubSpot)

Create massage demos and massage how-to videos to show your massage skill, style, and flair on YouTube. By joining YouTube's Partner Program you can earn ad revenue every time someone views an ad on your channel.

3.) Become an Affiliate Marketer

What massage and wellness products do you love? Is there an essential oil/aromatherapy blend, or a massage tool you can't live without? Share your most-used products with your audience by becoming an affiliate marketer. Affiliate marketers receive a commission by promoting other company's products and driving more referral purchases.

Part of becoming a successful affiliate marketer is increasing your audience. For tips on how to grow your social media audience, check out our Social Media Savviness guidebook.

4.) Create A Blog For Your Niche

Start sharing your voice and your thoughts with your community using an online blog. YOu can take the position as the professional you arel or, utilize your blog to highlight other "hats" you wear in your life (your audience may love to see you from this perspective too). Not only is this a valuable trust-building tool for your existing audience but also, a blog can help you build a larger following (over time) and improve your ranking on Google. Take the time to create insightful, useful blog posts that your audience will want to share.
